My professional life has always centered on people understanding their needs, communicating with them, and finding meaningful ways to help them overcome barriers.

My professional background spans psychology, special education and defectology, specialized work with individuals with developmental, behavioral, and cognitive needs, as well as a second professional career in broadcasting and production.

Throughout my career, I have continued to expand my education through advanced professional training and continuing education in autism, developmental disabilities, dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, nonprofit service, and other areas relevant to the individuals and families we serve.

I have always believed that professional education should never end with a diploma. Knowledge evolves, standards change, and the needs of the people we serve continue to change. Responsible service requires us to keep learning.

These experiences ultimately shaped the vision that became Life Aid.

I saw that many individuals and families do not struggle because help does not exist. They struggle because resources are fragmented, systems can be difficult to navigate, and people are often left trying to solve several urgent needs at the same time.

Life Aid was created to help bridge those gaps, connecting people with medical equipment, care coordination, application assistance, food resources, transportation, placement support, and other essential services.

Our goal is not simply to complete a task or provide a single service. It is to understand the person behind the request and help connect that individual with practical support that can protect dignity, independence, safety, and quality of life.

Life Aid continues to grow through the combined efforts of the people we serve, our team, volunteers, donors, professionals, and community partners.

And we are only beginning.
